Maupin Deschutes River Athletic Complex in the News!

Updated: Mar 7, 2022

We continue to make progress through the summer with dirt moving, construction starting and plans to get a track in place by September. As we look at the current activities it is always good to go back and reflect on the journey and those that have been part of it along the way. We are pushing toward our September paving date but also still pursuing funding to help us maximize our opportunities to finish the track, grandstands, event venue stage and food cart pods. It is much more cost effective to do it in subsequent phases tied to the school bond and remodeling of the school property. We look forward to the transformation with your help in the Spring of 2022 with the goal of hosting our first track meet in Maupin in over 50 years!

Here are a few articles and features that the media teams in the area have featured on the project.
